“I painted this piece like a deep exhale; layer by layer, until my nervous system softened. There's something about the density of it, the rhythm of repetition, that feels like being held. The palette was chosen intuitively, but in hindsight, it reminds me of dusk in a forest or the inside of a safe cocoon. This one hums a quiet lullaby for the overextended soul.”
