“I know better than most how easy it is to get caught up in the hustle culture that has been programmed into our definitions of success. It often feels like it takes more work to deprogram and slow down. However, I am learning that the slow lane actually takes me to where I want to go much faster. A richer journey filled with distinct memories of present moments. This piece illustrates these experiences with an interplay of textured colours in vertical arrangement created using oil pigments and Caribbean Sea sand from the beaches of Belize laid meticulously on Belgium linen”
